ENVIROTHON!

The Envirothon is an engaging outdoor, academic event. High school students', grades 9-12, are challenged to work as a team to answer environmental test questions on the following topics: aquatics, current environmental issues, forestry, soils, wildlife. Competitions are held throughout Ohio as Area events. Those teams placing in their Area competition advance to the Ohio Envirothon.

Nine teams from local high schools competed in the 2026 Area 5 Envirothon on April 16th at Rocky Fork State Park in Highland County.
