ENVIROTHON!

The Envirothon is an engaging outdoor, academic event. High school students', grades 9-12, are challenged to work as a team to answer environmental test questions on the following topics: aquatics, current environmental issues, forestry, soils, wildlife. Competitions are held throughout Ohio as Area events. Those teams placing in their Area competition advance to the Ohio Envirothon.

Pike County students compete in Area 5. This year's Area 5 Envirothon will be held Thursday, April 16th at Rocky Fork Lake State Park, Highland County, Ohio. The deadline to register teams is March 23rd.

Pike SWCD pays team registration fees.
