Get to Know Us
The Pike Soil & Water Conservation District (SWCD) was formed on April 6, 1949. The District is a local unit of government and legal subdivision of the State of Ohio. Pike SWCD was organized for the purpose of developing a program for the conservation of soil and water resources. It's governed by a board of supervisors that is composed of five local individuals elected by landowners and residents of Pike County. These individuals do not receive a salary and are elected to three-year terms.
